Question:
What do the seasons “mean” and where did they come from?

Answer:
The seasons used to define the coloring of individuals come indeed from Nature itself. But the label of a season goes beyond color and its quality and includes the energy of the individual as related to the season’s energy.

For instance, the winter environment includes sharp, dark lines of bare trees in striking contrast against the snow. The Winter individual has dark hair and light skin with a striking physical component. The winter season is at rest even though a lot is going on underneath, in the roots and bulbs of plants. The Winter individual appears quiet and aloof on the outside but tends to be highly analytical with an active mind.

Basically, people exhibit and inhabit physical and personality characteristics that echo the four seasons.

Question:
Can I be more than one season?

Answer:
Yes. In fact, it’s unusual that an individual is completely one season. Most people have a dominant seasonal harmony with one or two supporting harmonies in varying degrees of proportions.

Question:
Then it’s possible to be both warm and cool?

Answer:
Certainly. Nature moves from cool to warm seasons throughout each annual cycle. Since we are part of nature, it follows that we, too, can fall on a cusp, so to speak. You may have cool hair coloring and warm skin coloring, so all the colors in your palette will reflect that specific harmony—no cooler than the coolest hue in your hair, no warmer than the warmest hue in your skin, for instance.

Since your warm and cool coloring as well as your energy and personality all harmonize naturally, the colors that end up in your palette will harmonize with you and with each other.

Question:
I’m concerned you’ll ”make me over“ in a way that’s not me, that I’ll feel foreign in my own skin.

Answer:
It’s scary to put ourselves and our personal image in the hands of someone else. I have the same concerns (hey, even image consultants need image consultants). I’m consistently working to be the best “me” I can be. I’m here to help you be the best “you” that you can be.

Each of the tools and services I use provides information about your unique, personal pattern in nature, which is what drives the information I provide to you.

I value my uniqueness and individuality. That’s why it was so important to me to find ways to value the same in my clients when I work with them.

Question:
Why should I have a color palette?

Answer:
Because attention will go up to your eyes, you will look younger, healthier and more attractive. You will have vital information for your personal expression, while increasing your self-confidence and self-esteem. It is a lifetime investment for your future clothing and makeup purchases, and home decorating choices.

Question:
How many other color palettes will be like mine?

Answer:
None. Yours is unique to you. Each palette is custom made. Your eyes, skin and hair color, your bone structure, energy level and personality determine your personalized palette. Even twins’ palettes are different.

Question:
How long will my color palette last?

Answer:
You’ll be able to use the colors all your life. However, as we mature, our coloring tends to soften—our skin becomes a bit duller or appears darker due to age spots, and our hair may change to shades of gray or get a salt-and-pepper appearance. When this happens, your palette may need minor adjusting.

Question:
Do you recommend any books?
